Rochester Community Schools

Rochester Community Schools provides a world-class education to 15,000 students residing in the Greater Rochester area. With one early childhood center, 13 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, and one alternative high school, our mission is to provide a quality education in a caring atmosphere so all students can attain the necessary skills and knowledge to become lifelong learners and contribute to a diverse, interdependent and changing world. To fulfill our mission and better position our students for the future, the community overwhelmingly voted to invest in our schools. By approving a $185 million bond proposal, funding is in place for improved student safety and school security and infrastructure and technology enhancements.
