Ronald McDonald House Auckland is a home away from home for families from all over NZ whose desperately ill children require potentially lifesaving treatment. We provide shelter and support for these families who must travel to Auckland because the specialist treatment their child urgently requires isnt necessarily available to them nearby. Families with children in intensive care are also provided with emergency accommodation in our Ronald McDonald House Family Room located inside Starship, when even being five minutes away from their child is too far. The House and Family Room are run by the RMH Auckland Trust which is a 100% community charitable trust. It is a registered charitable trust and qualifies for tax deductible status with the IRD.
