We offer a healthy and eco-friendly alternative to mainstream restaurants all in a quick-service environment that lets you eat and run or eat and linger over a glass of wine. Hence Root (food fresh from the farm) and Vine (from Chablis to Shiraz). To that end, we emphasize fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We make almost everything from scratch in our kitchen, including our bread. And we offer a medley of menu choices from well-made comfort foods (Indiana bison burgers, frites, brisket) to vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free goodies We also adhere to fully sustainable, zero waste practices ranging from eschewing the use of Prosciutto Americano from Iowa to composting and recycling.
