Ros na Run

Ros na Run is a popular Irish television production broadcasting new episodes every Tuesday and Thursday on TG4, with 82 episodes in a season. Now in its 22nd year Ros na Run is the single largest independent television production commissioned in the history of Irish broadcasting. Eo Teilifis in partnership with Leirithe Thir Eoghain produce the popular soap opera which has screened numerous ground breaking moments on television in Ireland over the past 21 years, including the first ever gay kiss shown on screen back in 1996. Filming takes place over a two week cycle, with two studios working simultaneously on a purpose-built set in the West of Ireland. A unique project - a script to screen production all based in one location. Pre-production, filming, post-production, Editing, audio-post and video-post are all done on the set in an Spideal, Co.Galway.
