Rosamond Gifford Zoo

Founded in 1914, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park is among the top 10 percent of zoos in the country as one of 230 accredited members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). We are actively involved in saving species as a participant in AZA Species Survival Plans (SSPs) for many threatened and endangered animals. The zoo is dedicated to connecting people to the natural world by providing engaging guest experiences, exceptional animal care and global conservation education. The zoos non-profit partner, Friends of the Zoo, aims to provide guests with the best day ever and welcomes feedback.
