Based in Entebbe, Uganda, Rosebud Ltd is the countrys largest exporter of roses commanding around 35% of Ugandas rose export market. The greenhouses cover a total of 36 hectares producing and exporting over 9 million stems per month; six additional hectares are under construction. The greenhouses are irrigated by a modern, automated water pumping unit which feeds our fully computerized hydroponic systems. The following varieties are produced: Red Calypso (bright red), Viva (bright yellow), Valentino (dark red), Chelsea (orange), Akito (white), Marie Claire (orange flame), Blushing Akito (pink), Poe-me (pink), Meera (champagne), Lambada (orange) & Samoa (deep orange). Rosebud Ltd in Uganda, East Africa specializes in the production of cut roses for export. We continuously try to improve on our quality as the expansion program continues. Due to the favorable weather conditions, we are able to produce over 9 million rose stems every month, all of the same high quality
