Following a Mexican bun recipe, Rotiboy Bakeshoppe was originally founded in Penang, Malaysia in 1998 by Hiro Tan. Weve been growing ever since, and our brand has evolved into specialty bakeshop stores and a cafe concept with over 300 stores throughout Asia: Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, & KSA. With the advent of many other brands which are inspired by Rotiboy, we are effectively the founder and creator of the bun industry in Malaysia and worldwide. Today, many new bakery products, snacks, and both hot and cold drinks have been introduced in our menu and enjoyed in our stores. Yet, our signature Rotiboy Bun remains the best seller.
