Rotterdamse Dakendagen (Rotterdam Rooftop Days)

The Rotterdamse Dakendagen are a festive exploration of the rooftops of Rotterdam. Lets hit the roof! Above our heads lies an undiscovered world. Its a shame that we are not using all that available space in a more efficient way. With the Rooftop Days of Rotterdam we are aiming to stimulate the utilization of rooftops in the city. We want to demonstrate in what ways roofs could contribute to a sustainable future. We will show inspiring examples and explore the possibilities of the roofscape of Rotterdam in an excitatory manner. In 2015 the Rotterdamse Dakendagen won the Golden Pinacle Award for the best new small event (under $250.000) by the International Festival & Event association. Yay! The Rotterdamse Dakendagen offers the opportunity to discover Rotterdams roofscape on a scale that was not possible until now.
