Roughing It provides the highest quality summer camp programs to children of the San Francisco Bay Area. Established in 1972 it has become one of the most respected day camp programs in the country. Roughing It conducts several camps every summer including: Roughing It Day Camp (4&8 week sessions only, our flagship program); Horse Day Camp (2-week sessions, horse intensive camp); Little Raccoons ( 2-week sessions, introductory camp for younger campers) and Outdoor Explorers (1-week sessions, for campers too busy to attend our 4&8 week session day camp)
