R&R was founded in 1985 when Catherine and Jay Weil felt a calling to help the elderly live comfortably and stay in their own homes even as their needs and abilities changed with advancing age. Catherines love for providing care to the elderly was first revealed when she was called to help her own mother, who lived to the age of 95. Catherine and Jay believed that everyone deserved the opportunity to age with dignity and autonomy. Thus began their mission to offer Rest and Relaxation to the elderly. The purpose that originated with one family has grown into a family of companies dedicated to providing seniors in the Greater New Orleans area with compassionate, professional care. R&R Home Care offers licensed medical in-home care, while R&R Care Solutions provides companionship and non-medical assistance.
