Running Snail Racing Team

We are the Running Snail Racing Team from the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden. Since our founding in 2004 we compete against other student teams on several international Formula Student events each year. The Formula Student is the largest designing competition worldwide and demands a lot of discipline, effort and passion from every single participant. The goal of the competition is to enable students to gain knowledge in a project environment to be well equipped for their professional life. With 481 international combustion and 180 electric teams (64 of which from Germany), Formula Student is not only popular with students but favored by companies as well, functioning as a marketing and recruiting platform for future high potentials.
