RYA Scotland

RYA Scotland is a membership organisation meaning one of the main aims is looking after the interests of individuals, clubs, training centres and affiliates of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in Scotland. Supported by sportscotland and The National Lottery RYA Scotlands purpose is to promote and protect safe, successful and rewarding boating in Scotland through representation, participation & development and performance. RYA Scotland is recognised by all government offices as being the negotiating body for the activities it represents. It continually fights for the rights and freedoms of the 76,000 people in Scotlands Boating Community. RYA Scotland works in conjunction with the RYA to provide advice and guidance on a variety of issues effecting members. RYA Scotland is also responsible for the monitoring and development of clubs within Scotland. . RYA Scotland is committed to promoting all forms of boating and making them accessible to everyone
