Originally opened as Southern Gastrointestinal Services, SA Group of Specialists was established in 2000 by Associate Professor Peter Bampton and Dr Derwin Williams. We now have over 45 qualified and experienced practitioners working across a range of specialities, including gastroenterologists, sleep and respiratory physicians, vascular surgeons and neurologists, as well as a range of visiting specialties. We also have general and upper GI surgeons, who are supported by dietitians, psychologists, GPs with an interest in weight management and exercise physiologists.
