We rescue surplus food that would otherwise have gone to landfills. SA Harvest collects quality surplus food in refrigerated vehicles from a variety of sources and delivers it, direct, without delay and free of charge, to a variety of organisations that feed food vulnerable people on a daily basis. Even though we work closely with any organisation that rescues food and fights to reduce waste, one of our most important points of difference is that, because our business model enables us to deliver PERISHABLE as well as NON-PERISHABLE food, our recipient organisations get a sufficient variety of food-types enabling them to make full and nourishing meals for their people.
