SAAR

Students Alumni Alliance Resource is an interactive and transaction platform for the students of Indian Institutes of Technology and the most important initiative of Prama Jyoti Foundation (www.pramajyoti.org), a non-profit organization dedicated towards providing financial support, guidance and motivation to students. It was conceived in Delhi, when around a dozen alumni met up at a watering hole and were as usual discussing the good old days, the fondness of memories and the happiness in the meetings of alumni, the challenges of getting younger alumni involved. This discussions germinated an idea to Mr Ravi Sharma, a distinguished alumnus of IIT Roorkee and the brain behind SAAR (and Prama Jyoti) and this portal was created as an interactive technology enabled platform for current students, young and old alumni and faculty of IIT.
