Saccardo company has been established in 1958 as F.lli Saccardo company, as an electric motors manufacturer. In the following years, the design and the realization of the first prototypes of flat-shape engines began, with the initial letters MB, immediately meeting a good market feedback, it evolved in 1990 as Saccardo Elettromeccanica company, with the new headquarters in Schio (VI), which quickly reached a leading market position in the production and marketing of flat-shape engines, which after a restyling took the current name of SBC. In the meantime, other types of engines and the first electro-spindles have been developed. The company specialized in 2001, with the opening of the current and more modern plant of Santorso (VI). New CNC machines had been installed to increase the production and refine the process.
