ABOUT SADIQ: Sadiq Public School was established in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in response to the emerging needs and aspirations of the country. The government recognized the importance of a public school that would emphasize Islamic ideology, revive cultural heritage, and focus on character building, personality development, and academic activities. The goal was to create an institution disciplined in the style of renowned schools like Harrow or Eton. The foundation stone of the school was laid in March 1953 by Alahazrat, Sir Sadiq Mohammad Khan Abbasi V. The ruling House of Bahawalpur, descendants of the Abbaside Caliphs of Baghdad renowned for their support of education and knowledge, has upheld a tradition of promoting art and learning.
