Established in 1970 by James Vining, Salem Metal has always been associated with family, quality, on-time delivery, and great value. Our business was originally located in a 3,500-square-foot facility in Salem, Mass. The shop caught fire in 1986, making way for the company to move to a 30,000 square-foot-facility in Middleton, Mass. Although our growing business needed the additional space, rebuilding the company after the fire wasnt easy. It took a great coming together of loyal employees (who didnt want to work elsewhere) and loyal customers (who promised to return once the shop was operational). The dedication and superior customer service of Salem Metals employees has remained consistent over the years and has been fundamental to our success. We take pride in our work and are highly responsive to customer needs.
