Necton was founded in 1997 by three young university students who helped to recover an ancient art of producing traditional hand-harvested sea salt, almost extinct in Portugal. Our core business is producing top quality Hand Harvested Sea Salt and Fleur de Sel using traditional techniques dating back to the time of the Roman Empire.
