Sante Medical Collage, located around Bisrate Gebriel, is a private higher education institution accredited by the previous Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA) currently Education and Training Authority (ETA). It officially commenced its teaching and training activates in October 2014. This College, at the present, is conducting its teaching and training in 3 undergraduate programs, viz: at the doctoral (degree) level in general medicine (MD) and dental medicine (DDM) and at the BSc degree level in Medical laboratory science (MLS). In its post graduate programs, SMC is teaching and training at the MPH degree level in public health, public health nutrition and reproductive health (RH).
