I recognize that some people are simply looking for SEO to increase their traffic, some may want to create an engaging online community, while others may just need an attractive informational site to be used by their clients or colleagues. I dont apply templates to new sites (unless requested) and I dont make arbitrary design choices, each project is approached with creativity and with purpose. There are a number of SEO services available on the web which employ black-hat or spam heavy techniques in an attempt to trick search engines into ranking sites more favourably. However any results they achieve are only temporary, as the links disappear over time and the sites are taken down for violating the webmaster guidelines set out by the search engines.
