Saugus Union School District

The Saugus Union School District is located in Santa Clarita Valley in Northern Los Angeles County. Currently, there are approximately 10,100 students attending fifteen schools and an independent home study program. We offer preschool programs on sixteen campuses and have approximately 530 preschoolers enrolled. The newest campus, Emblem Academy, was re-opened in the 2013-2014 school year with a focus on Ethics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Mathematics. Fourteen of our schools have been recognized as California Gold Ribbon Schools, while thirteen have been recognized as California Distinguished Schools, many of them more than once. In 2012 - 2013 one school received the Title I National Academic Achievement award. In addition, five schools have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools.
