Save the Children Tanzania

Save the Children began its work in Tanzania in Pemba Island- Zanzibar working on maternal and newborn health. Since then, Save the Children Tanzania has expanded its programming to more than thirteen (13) regions in Mainland Tanzania and two (2) in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba). Save the Children supports children in health and nutrition, child protection, education, and child rights governance programming, using a system strengthening approach, partnering with the Government of Tanzania, civil society organizations, and international organizations.
