Scarborough UTC is a new industry-orientated school opening in September 2016 for 14-19 year olds that will deliver GCSEs and A Levels and will combine both academic and vocational learning. The strength of Scarborough UTC is its close working relationship with employer partners and lead educational partner, The University of Hull. Our aim is to lay foundations in engineering, design, manufacturing, computer science, electronics and control systems helping to tackle the current skills gap. We do this by combining practical and academic teaching which will inevitably secure thier place in industry
