Scenario Pubblico/Compagnia Zappala Danza is one of the four National Dance Production Centres recognised by the Italian Ministry of Culture. This recognition arrived in 2015, crowning the long history of the Compagnia Zappala Danza and his founder Roberto Zappala, over 25 years of activity rich of international success and not last the realisation of an avant-garde space Scenario Pubblico, which quickly changed the dance perception in the City of Catania and which has become in a few years a point of reference for dance in the South of Italy. Roberto Zappala, has been running and narrating about a lively Southern part of Italy together with his Company with tenacity, with a lucid vision aimed to improve his poetics, to build a humanist and philosophical home to his dance ideas (delteatro.it).
