Scenic Community Credit Union

The Chattanooga DuPont Nylon Employees Credit Union was organized and chartered February 26, 1954. On October 27, 1997, our East Brainerd office was opened in the Concorde Centre, Soddy Daisy on February 1, 2007, and in November 2011 we celebrated the opening of our Ooltewah office. Beginning June 2015 we proudly became Scenic Community Credit Union. We are a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Members elect a volunteer board of directors to oversee the Credit Union, and because members own SCCU, members have a say in how we do business. We always strive to make positive changes while keeping our Credit Union a safe, sound and responsible financial institution. The philosophy of SCCU today is the same as that of its original founders.
