The Schils Company was founded in 1925 as feed mill by the family Schils, in the south part of the Netherlands. In 1958, Schils started to manufacture Calf Milk Replacers, based on skim milk powders and whey powder. A new production plant, fully dedicated to manufacture milk replacers, was built in 1980 in the nearby town of Sittard.
