It all started in the 1940s with Uncle Sams store (The Fruit Palace) in Broken Hill. The family business flourished and Joe, Ralph and Sam grew up working in their fathers store (The South Fruit Market) also in Broken Hill. In 1985 the Schinellas migrated to Adelaide bringing with them generations of knowledge, a strong work ethic and a love of fresh food. Family has inspired the Schinella brothers to go back to where they began and its at the heart of their new brand Schinellas Your Local Market. Were excited to continue our family business under our new brand, but we also love being part of the Adelaide Fresh Fruiterers family - youll always see the infamous cherries throughout our store.
