The mission of Scholar Athletes, operating in Boston as Boston Scholar Athletes (BSA) and in Springfield, MA as Springfield Scholar Athletes (SSA), is to reduce the opportunity gap for public high school students by supporting academic achievement through athletics. Due to its unprecedented relationships and partnerships, Scholar Athletes has experienced tremendous growth and impact in its short history. Today, Boston Scholar Athletes operates in 19 Boston Public High Schools and Springfield Scholar Athletes operates in 3 Springfield Public High Schools.
