School Board School

Our mission is to activate a diverse coalition of education advocates and aspiring school board members to create significant and sustainable change in their school system. We prepare participants with the skills, mindset, networks, and experiences needed to be ready to serve as effective school board members and education advocates. At School Board School, we: -Prepare participants to lead and govern: Our 6-month program is comprised of 20 sessions and field trip experiences led by content area experts. These experiences provide participants with a deep understanding of how school districts operate and what it takes to make systemic change. -Develop diverse leadership: We are building a network of people who have historically been affected by but not included in this work.
