School of Legal School SLS) is one of the oldest Law Schools in India and is part of Cochin University(CUSAT), India. SLS has made valuable contributions to the study and research of law in the past 54 years, fully living up to the motto of CUSAT Tejaswinavadhitamastu meaning may the wisdom accrued deify us both-the teacher and the taught and percolate to the universe in its totality. SLS offers LLB, LLM and Ph.D programmes. The LLB Programme, started in 1994 as an evening programme, is now semesterised, full day programme. From 2009 as per the directions from the Bar Council of India, the 5 Year LLB. course had been restructured and a BBA. LL.B programme is offered in its place. In the year 2013 SLS has also started B.Com. LLB programme. Both BBA. LLB and B.Com.
