Science & Spirituality Club - NIT Calicut

The Science and Spirituality Club is a newly founded club in NIT Calicut. Mission : To help students explore their spiritual side while maintaining a scientific approach towards life. To teach students to use spiritual practices such as meditation to tackle stress. Brief : The club tries to create a balance of Science and Spirituality in the students life. A person can only develop himself to his maximum potential if the development is spanning across the three dimensions i.e. Physical, Mental and Spiritual. Physical development can be achieved through exercising and practicing Yoga. Mental development can be achieved through reading quality books, learning new skills and connecting to people. However, spiritual development is achieved when an individual is in close relationship with himself/herself. This is achieved by practicing meditation and other spritual practices.
