Scientific Research Support Fund

The Jordan Scientific Research Support Fund (SRSF) was established in 2007 to fulfill the higher education and scientific research law No. 4 for the year 2005 and its amendments act (13), as a financially and administratively independent government institute, responsible for encouraging and supporting scientific research in the kingdom. It is administered by a Board of Directors headed by the Minster of Higher Education and Scientific Research, MOHE. According to SRSF legislation No.42 for the year 2010 the Fund was established with the purpose of: o Provision of financial support to scientific research projects submitted by Jordanian researchers. o Provision of support for the resolution of technical problems faced by Jordanian companies and institutions in order to develop its industry and products and enable it to improve its competitive edge, provided this is done in collaboration with Jordanian universities. o Provision of support for enabling the utilization of science an...
