The Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students - SSHMS (EEFIE) was founded in September 1993 and is a non-profit NGO, based on its members voluntary contribution. The primary purpose is to motivate medical students to work on scientific, social and educational issues. Students get the opportunity to cooperate with students, medical doctors, researchers or scientists from all over Greece and abroad. Furthermore, they participate in editing books and magazines and creating electronic information services on the Internet.
