SDM / UB-Farmatec

The SDM and UB-Farmatec form a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) partnership affiliated with the University of Barcelona. We specialize in providing comprehensive services for the development of all types of medicines, nutraceutics, cosmetics and medical devices (solids, liquids and semisolids). We also provide services for the development of analytical methods and quality control services. The SDM works under ISO9001:2015 Standards, underscoring our dedication to maintaining high-quality processes. Furthermore, at UB-Farmatec we operate under a GMP environment, allowing the manufacturing of biobatches for clinical trials. As a unique Technology Transfer Center, we play a pivotal role in fostering research, development, and technology transfer within the healthcare sector.
