Seacera Tiles Berhad was originally incorporated under the name of Seacera Tiles Sdn Bhd in 1987 and was converted into a public company in 1995 as part of its listing exercise. The company was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) on 27 May 1999. The SEACERA Group of Companies is one of the pioneer companies in the Malaysian ceramic industry, starting with bricks and refractory bricks production before venturing into fully vitrified homogenous porcelain tiles manufacturing in 1987 using European technology and machineries.
