Sealcentre Pieterburen

Sealcentre Pieterburen is a science-based hospital and research centre for mainly Harbour and Grey seals. We believe in healthy seals, as bio-indicators for a healthy sea. We work as a learning community, in which volunteers, student, visitors, partners and the general public are all involved. Together we strive for a clean environment for the seals and humans alike and we have the privilege to do this right next to the UNESCO World Heritage site: the Wadden Sea.
