Seatrans Chemical Tankers is part of The Seatrans Group a fully integrated ship owning and ship management company that has been operating in the international market for more than 50 years. From the time our first ship was in operation, there has been a continuous drive for innovative shipping concepts combined with high quality ship management. Development of chemical tankers with independent cargo tanks with Teflon lining, specially designed cargo pumps and cargo lines, are the hallmark of Seatrans innovation. The Trans Fjell development was the result of this concept. Our two 20.000 tonners are sophisticated fully IMO 2 chemical-tankers with the added feature that 50% of the space can alternatively load chemical gases such as C4s. We were also the first carrier in the world to redesign two chemical tankers to handle hydrogen peroxide in bulk.
