Seaview Project

Since 1985, Seaviews team have put the most vulnerable and marginalized people first and provided a safe and supportive space for everyone over 16 years old. We are the only open access centre of our type in East Sussex, outside of Brighton, and have over 24,429 contacts with people across all our services each year. Each month our team intervene over 800 times to directly avert crisis for individuals and welcome approximately 70 people a day to our Wellbeing Centre, working with them individually to build a network of bespoke practical support and community care that meets their needs. Everyday thousands of individuals in the UK fall through the cracks in society and end up cold, scared, confused and alone. We reach out to individuals experiencing a range of issues including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, substance misuse, physical disabilities, loneliness, rough sleeping and homelessness.
