Sociologisch EpiCentrum (SEC) is the study association for all sociology students at the University of Amsterdam. Directed by the Board, SEC includes seven committees, which organise both social and study-related activities to bring students in contact, and to provide academic and career related opportunities. SEC also organises a book sales where members can buy their study books at a discount at the beginning of each semester. We organise weekly drinks on Thursdays, study trips, parties, open podiums, lectures, career-related events and much more! Since 2020, SEC also has a podcast.
