At Seed St. Louis, our mission is to empower people and communities to grow food. For the last 37 years, Seed St. Louis has been working with communities in the St. Louis region to provide a unique blend of programs: School Gardens Gardens offer a unique opportunity to apply traditional topics in an interactive environment that reinforces the learning experience. Through our Seed to Stem program, we work with parents, teachers and other community leaders to bring kids outside, integrating classroom work with lessons in gardening and healthy eating. Community Gardens and Urban Farms Regardless of their function, community gardens connect people to the land, to their food and to each other.
