Senior Home Sharing

The need for affordable senior housing in DuPage County continues to expand. The population of seniors 60 and older has increased twenty-four percent in the last ten years. The number of seniors is predicted to continue to increase dramatically over the next two decades, highlighting this housing gap. Senior Home Sharing is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping meet this need for affordable senior housing by providing a shared housing option. Homes are located in Lombard and Naperville, Illinois. Senior Home Sharings mission is to provide seniors with an opportunity to live independently in an affordable family style home. Each residence has its unique characteristics, but all provide a warm, comfortable, family-focused home including private bedrooms for six to seven seniors, the services of a live-in manager, and three home-prepared meals a day.
