Senior Services of Alexandria (formerly Senior Citizens Employment & Services) is a full-service community organization with more than 50 years experience dedicated to helping Alexandrias seniors. In 1968, Alexandria social activists founded the organization to address age discrimination in employment and to support the unique talents of our seniors as a resource for the city and its business leaders. An employment counseling service was developed to address the needs of displaced seniors age 55 and older.
