Segments 1-4 of SH 130, from Georgetown in Williamson County to Mustang Ridge in southeast Travis County, began opening for traffic in late 2006, with the remainder scheduled to open by the end of 2007. Segments 5 & 6, which will stretch 40 miles through Travis, Caldwell and Guadalupe counties to I-10 near Seguin, are projected to open by 2012, completing the entire SH 130 facility.
