Shanghai Arbitration Commission

Shanghai Arbitration Commission (hereinafter SHAC) is a permanent arbitral institution established by the Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government in 1995 and registered with the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice. As one of the first seven pioneering arbitral institutions set up in China, the SHAC has been enabling significant influence of arbitration as a method of alternative dispute resolution.
