His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah has issued Amiri Decree No. (79) in November 2016 to establish Sharjah Womens Sports headed by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. Sharjah Womens Sports aims to serve the sports sector in all aspects, develop womens sports in UAE in general and Sharjah in particular.
