Education is one of the essential fundamental rights for every citizen of Bangladesh & Technical education is the crying need to build a nation effectively especially for us developing country. The Economy of Bangladesh largely depends on RMG sector and around 88% of our export earnings comes solely from RMG & Textile sector. As a part of vision 2021, The government of Bangladesh has a plan to upgrade its economic status from developing to developed one. To achieve this status there is no alternative of ensuring technical education nationwide. For this reason, department of textiles under ministry of jute and textiles has started establishing technical textile institutions like textile engineering colleges, textile institutes & textile vocational institutions in different parts of the country.
