Shenzhen research institute of big data (SRIBD) is established with the approval of Shenzhen Municipal Peoples Government and is of an independent legal personality of the two types of institutions. SRIBDs establishment relies on the Peacock team under Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Committee. It is committed to the establishment of world-class big data research and development centre, to maximize the utilization of the rich data resources of the National Supercomputing Center in Shenzhen, Shenzhen municipal governments and the local enterprises.
