Shkoday

Shkoday is a community-based organization helping Indigenous children create a brighter future. The organization ignites the spirit within to support families, children and youth on their journey to a well-balanced life. Shkoday was developed to start the Aboriginal Head Start initiative and to provide opportunities for children, youth and families through increased participation in cultural and neighbourhood based programming. It was incorporated on January 20, 1997 and initially sponsored by the Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre
