SHREWD was founded during the H1N1 Influenza Pandemic in 2009, to address the poor access to, and visibility of, real time information across the NHS. SHREWDs vision is to enable the National Health Service and social services to use real time information to make data-driven decisions about health and social care at a price that is accessible to all health and social care commissioners. While data is important, the right data is essential. Individuals and organisations are becoming overwhelmed by the increasing amounts of data they have to collect and interpret. Understanding what is important to each organisation and making sense of it is what Transforming Systems does!
